Jack Harkness, although some consider it a selfish, was capable of remarkable bursts of altruism. The only problem was that not everyone will understand.
Ianto for example, did nothing but complain about his attempts to get him to eat vegetables. The boy, if left to itself, was able to live with pizza and coffee, which in the long run that would have ruined her slender figure who was so well with those beautiful yet complete and no better.
And now that she had a fever, a red nose and a dry cough that scared even the Weevil, did not want to throw down a regular glass of orange juice!
Jack had tried everything: prayers, flattery, promises, threats. It seemed that there was nothing to do. Ianto's lips tightened, her nose curled into a grimace in disgust and arms tightly folded across chest, in a perfect interpretation of a spoiled kid that Jack was adorable.
- Next Ianto, it's just orange juice! - Tried again holding out the glass in which he had personally pressed two beautiful blood oranges.
- in the medicine, there are tablets of vitamin C, - the young man replied through clenched teeth, not at all impressed.
Jack took his cup to his mouth with a sigh. He acknowledged defeat, but would return to the office.

Ianto Jones stretched lazily. He was one of those rare days when he and his lover were called back to base just in case of emergency. The sound of footsteps made him open his eyes and smiled at the sight of Jack "dressed" only in a towel in life, which came into the room with a tray full of pastries, coffee and something else.
- What's that? - Asked in a suspicious tone indicating a glass of orange juice, half hidden from the rest.
- That's for me - the captain replied nonchalantly as he sat down cross-legged on the bed and chose a tempting pastries from the tray was placed on the nightstand on his side.
All went well until Ianto reached out to take his coffee and, without having the faintest idea how it happened, threw the glass that spread its contents on to Jack.
The young man was about to apologize, trying not to laugh too, when the other grabbed him by the shoulders began to kiss him. A smile appeared impudent eyes clear of Ianto as he went down to kiss Jack's neck and then continue to get lower and lower.
Much later, on their way to the shower, Jack could resist no longer.
- I understand that the orange juice is not so bad, right?
